Who We Are
Over 45 Years of Industrial Excellence
Our Story
Where It All
Began
In 1979, two visionaries — André Barrette and Vicentino Di Sano — founded Avitec Tools in a modest facility on 4th Avenue in Rivière-des-Prairies, Montréal. Their shared conviction was simple but powerful: that precision, craftsmanship, and integrity could build lasting partnerships with the most demanding clients in aerospace and industry.
From those early days in a small workshop, the company steadily grew — relocating to St-Léonard, then building a dedicated 10,000 sq. ft. factory on Armand-Bombardier. With every decade came new capabilities: CNC machining in the 1990s, ISO 9001 in 2006, AS9100 accreditation in 2009, and a landmark expansion into the US market in 2015.
Today, Avitec Tools stands as a trusted North American partner for Tier 1 and Tier 2 aerospace clients — a testament to more than four decades of precision, persistence, and passion.

Our Mission
Mission &
Values

Precision First
Every part we manufacture is held to the highest dimensional standards. Tolerances to ±0.0001" are not an aspiration — they are our baseline.

Client Partnership
We treat every client relationship as a long-term partnership. Their challenges become our engineering problems to solve — urgently and expertly.

Uncompromising Quality
ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification are the framework. Our consistently low non-conformance rate is the proof. Quality is never compromised.

Continuous Innovation
We invest in technology, process improvement, and skills development to stay ahead of industry demands and deliver next-generation tooling solutions.
Precision, performance, and integrity have been the foundation of every decision at Avitec since 1979. We don't just manufacture tools — we build the trust that our clients' operations depend on.

Their leadership has ushered in an era of strategic growth — deepening relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 aerospace clients, modernizing operations, and expanding Avitec’s footprint across North America. The founder’s spirit lives on; the company’s vision has never been sharper.
